UNIT 1: GET TO THE CORE
Students acquire the vocabulary necessary to talk about sports: different types of sports and the people who do them; equipment used to do some types of sports, verbs to use with sports (do, play, go). They have multiple-choice questions, true-false exercises and fill in the gaps. There are thirty questions with an increasing level of difficulty. Students get two coins for each correct answer but in case the answer is incorrect they lose one coin. So students can choose as a strategy not to answer some questions if they are not sure of the answer.
With a minimum number of 36 coins students get on to the second step – or second level.
LEVEL 2 – GO INTO MORE DEPTH
Creative writing:
- describe a sport you tried but you didn’t like, give reasons.
- Compare it with one you liked, refer to the same aspects.
- Do you prefer doing a sport or watching it? Give reasons.
LEVEL 3 – GET THE CORE

What do you think is the best way to have a healthy lifestyle?
